- They aren’t loving in the sense they promote viewing others as threats
- They aren’t needed as most people aren’t at risk
- They are divisive
- The position on their usefulness has flip-flopped multiple times
- Their use is at odds with the way the immune system works
- Their use is dropping rapidly in most of the rest of the US and daily interactions
- Their usefulness as a tool of fear is fading as new boogeymen are being highlighted
- People are tired of them
- They are an implement of control and submission
- We aren’t to be manipulated by the fear of man
